Reader interest comes first
Recommendations must be based on fit, verified facts, and observed limitations. Payment, affiliate availability, or vendor pressure cannot determine the verdict or order of products.
No fabricated experience
We do not claim to have tested a feature we did not open, complete a transaction we did not make, or report a result we did not measure. Vendor claims are labeled and are not rewritten as first-hand findings.
No paid rankings
A vendor cannot buy a score, ranking, best-for label, removed limitation, or favorable conclusion. Sponsored work, if introduced later, must be labeled and kept separate from independent editorial ratings.
Sources and dates
Plan details and product rules should link to official sources. Screenshots receive capture dates. Claims that can change are checked again before publication and on a regular review schedule.
Corrections
A meaningful correction should be made promptly and recorded on the affected page. Minor copy or formatting edits need not create a public change log, but they must not quietly alter the substance of a verdict.
AI-assisted work
Automation may help organize research or draft copy, but it is not evidence. Claims, screenshots, sources, links, and policy language require human review before publication. Mass-produced pages that add no tested value are outside this policy.
Conflicts and access
Free access, trials, vendor briefings, or other material connections must be disclosed when they could affect how a reasonable reader evaluates the article.
